After years of development together with Matthias Branschke (dudelsackmanufaktur.de), I am delighted that our string lifter system for hurdy-gurdies can finally expand the musicians' playing options.
Using a finely operated lever mechanism, our string lifters raise and lower the playing string quickly and reliably, even and especially while playing.
This means that the sound volume can be expanded or reduced as desired within a piece being played.
The installation instructions are still in beta. However, the current version is already available for download: BSL2_manual (pdf/V1-R233)
